Taman Rasuna

Taman Rasuna

Jakarta

Luxury in the heart of Jakarta

Dragages oversaw the turnkey construction of Taman Rasuna, a luxury residential complex in the heart of Jakarta. Built on a site of 11 ha, this project included the construction of 11 towers of between 28 to 32 storeys. It was the first project of Dragages Singapore in Indonesia and was delivered just before the Asian financial crisis sent overheated Indonesian property markets tumbling. Fifteen years after, the archipelago nation's real-estate markets are soaring up again and Jakarta is among the hottest property markets in Asia. Still today, Taman Rasuna is a popular residence for expatriates with among the top rated apartments in Jakarta.

The city
Established in the fourth century, the city of Jakarta became an important trading port for the Kingdom of Sunda. It was the capital of the Dutch East Indies and has continued as the capital of Indonesia since the country's independence was declared in 1945.
