The Arte was created as part of a design-and-build contract for an upmarket 336-apartment residential complex consisting of two 36-storey tower blocks with swimming pools, tennis courts and a clubhouse built over a carpark in a partial single-level podium. The project also called for demolition of existing buildings and construction of a show apartment.
The Arte today stands as a picture of sculptured elegance. Its design concept utilises discreet contrasting textures and finishes to lend an understated vibrancy to its appearance. At night, The Arte transforms into a dramatically lit masterpiece as its extensive steel framework breathe urban exclusivity.
To ensure a 7 days cycle schedule, Dragages took full advantage of precasting solutions, especially horizontal precast elements. The number of precast moulds was also kept to a minimum by maximizing the mould usage, with combinations of moulds.
