Dragages, a name for innovation and excellence
Dragages et Travaux Publics (the French for “dredging and public works”) was set up in Vietnam in 1902 to undertake the maintenance of a 2,000 km canal system in the Mekong Delta.
In 1955, Dragages won its first contract in Hong Kong for the reclamation and formation of the runway at Kai Tak Airport. The Newton MRT station was Dragages’ first project in Singapore, undertaken in a joint venture in 1984.
Dragages joined the Bouygues Construction Group in 1985 and from
there, developed its activities in many parts of Asia and the world
including the township of Muang Thong Thani in Thailand (1991), the Pontiac Marina Development in Singapore (1993), and numerous building and transport infrastructures in Hong Kong.
With strong roots in Asia and the support of its parent company, Bouygues Bâtiment International, Dragages rapidly became a name for innovation and excellence in engineering and construction. Our project references in Singapore are the testimony of our expertise, our commitment to repeat clients and competitive pricing.
